Next-generation ion exchange resin in China and global market
Samyang Corporation participated in 'Aquatec China 2018' exhibition in Shanghai, China from the 31st to the 2nd of June.
Aquatec China 2018 is Asia's largest water treatment industry exhibition. Worldwide companies involved in the water treatment industry, including industrial water treatment systems, membranes, filters and household water purifiers, participated.
In this exhibition, Samyang Corp. introduced ion exchange resins for Ultrapure water, Power plants, Food, and Specialty application to the global markets including China under the brand of ‘TRILITE’.
Samyang is accelerating the global market penetration with its next-generation ion exchange resins in line with its Global, Specialty (high-functionality), and New business strategies. Continuous quality and technology differentiation is building diverse product portfolio tailored to the functions and applications demanded by the market and proceeded to pioneer the Chinese market, where electronics, food, and related industries are rapidly developing.
In 1976, Samyang Corporation became the first company in Korea to localize ion-exchange resin and lead domestic related fields. In 2011, it succeeded in localizing ion exchange resin for ultrapure water, contributing to the improvement of competitiveness of domestic semiconductor and LCD industry.
In 2014, Samyang Fine Technology was established to advance into the next generation ion exchange resin business, and the world's next-generation ion exchange resin production base was operated in Gunsan. Samyang TRILITE UPS(Uniform particle size) resins have better adsorption, separation and purification efficiencies than conventional non-uniform products due to the uniform size of fine particles.
